AMG has adopted proven practices within the industry. By coupling those practices with technology, we have been able to efficiently manage projects through the following action-based items:
- Upon contact from the General Contractor, Architect, or Owner, AMG will upload plans and specifications into our project management system.
- A template of tasks associated with a typical project containing glass, glazing, polycarbonates, or architectural metals will be forwarded to the General Contractor.
- The project is then sent to our estimating department where it is placed in a queue, which may take up to 10 days to process.
- Each individual component of the project will be analyzed in such a fashion to meet the project requirements. A breakdown of lineal and square footage conditions will be applied and coupled with the clearly identified items on the architectural drawings provided by the client.
- A first round estimate is presented to the client, which often results in identifying any potential dimensional busts or inaccuracies that may exist within the architectural plans.
- We commit to returning structural engineering documents within three weeks for furnish and install projects. For install only projects, we require all pertinent documentation a minimum of two weeks in advance of project commencement.
- Once all documentation has been executed, AMG requires an on-site meeting with the Project Manager and any and all associated trades.

ON SITE
Installation crews will be on-site to receive shipments and commence with installation within 24 hours, unless otherwise noted. Crew sizes will vary from three to thirty factory-certified technicians with wide and overlapping backgrounds.
We view our standard project obligations to be the following:
- All OSHA requirements to be fulfilled, all necessary clearances and testing, daily clean-up, standard reporting, and all other responsibilities that distinguish AMG as a valued team member.
- Upon completion of installation, a Job Information Questionnaire is requested to be filled out by the Project Manager and/or Site Superintendent in the presence of an AMG team member upon final walk-through. The purpose of this document is to assist both AMG and the General Contractor in establishing clarity of expectations on future projects.
